SOUTHERN OREGON VACATION FUN
Simply put, there few things more beautiful and romantic than gliding across the silvery waters while a spectacular moon lights your way. Our Southern Oregon moonlight canoe tour is a truly peaceful yet exciting experience, which we offer several nights surrounding each full moon.
Adventurers paddle out at dusk to a world of quiet exploration. Watch the moon rise to light your way as you paddle surrounded with the sounds and sights of the wetlands nightlife. Your naturalist guide will provide insight into your surroundings, and help you identify all the many Southern Oregon native birds and animals that you’ll come upon.
Moonlit canoeing is truly a memory made to save and visit in the scrapbook of your mind.
Fast Facts
On Water Time: 2 hours.
Paddling Distance: 3 to 4 miles.
Difficulty: Flat Water – no whitewater, no experience is necessary.
Cost: $65 per person 10+.
Season: June through September.
Times: Depart at 8pm and return about Midnight.
Equipment: As on all of our canoe tours we provide the canoe, paddles, lifejackets, and an experienced, professional guide. Our canoes are two person boats, which can also be set up for three people as well.
Meet Location: Guests meet the guides in Klamath Falls and then head to the waters. You may ride with the guides or follow behind in your own car.
Safety: Before you get in the water, the guides will provide paddling and safety instruction, and offer assistance and guidance along the way. Our tours are on flat, calm water and no experience is necessary.
