Sports Center Guest Service Agent Part Time

Job Overview

The purpose of this position is to create a sense of welcome and arrival for all guests and owners.  Guest Service Agents  are fully versed in all aspects of the services and amenities provided by the resort and are responsible for maintaining the safety of guests and owners and the integrity of the resort and its policies.

General Responsibilities

Provide information and an overall orientation of the property for all arriving guests
Ensuring all communications with guests and owners are handled properly and communicated to a supervisory or managerial level when needed.
Provide shuttle service.
Assist with guest luggage.
Deliver of guest request items.
Maintain good personal hygiene and clean work environment.
Ability to perform mild to moderate janitorial duties as needed.
Assist with requests, and questions.
Ability to fully explain all resort products, services and other information about the resort  to all guests and owners.
Maintain knowledge of current resort events, activities and hours of operation as well as dining options currently available.
Greet guests warmly and with enthusiasm.
Assist and bring resolution to  guest   issues and complaints, with empathy and a focus on   satisfaction. Use supervisor support when necessary.
Answer incoming calls within 3 rings with appropriate greeting.
Ability to learn new skills and adapt to change.
Assist with administrative duties as needed
Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications


High school diploma or equivalent preferred.



Previous guest service experience preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
Positive interpersonal skills required.
Must be fluent in verbal and written English.
Basic computer and typing skills are required.
Must be able to multi task and work under pressure.
Excellent listening and comprehension skills required.

Discretion / Independent Judgment

This position does represent the company in handling complaints, arbitrating disputes or resolving grievances, as a Guest Service Agent you will be expected to work with guests and visitors to ensure satisfaction.  A Guest Service Agent will have to take initiative and get creative in resolving guest challenges and involve a supervisor only when previous methods have been unsuccessful.
